The law has been prepared since last spring, and after 911 the govt put 13 new sections regarding emergency antiterror tricks - even if the way the parliament accepted the new sections were completly unconstitutional; it's official - but the law passed. Some human rights groups tried to influence socialist majority MPs to moderate and calm down, but in vain. Quite the same implications than within the US with the USA-Patriot Act : control of communications, secret searches, challenging the presumption of innocence, and derogatory measures - with an expiration date until dec. 31, 2003.
